Hey its nice to see some one who has a site for the big guy. I have been doing BJJ in NZ under Douglas Santos out of BTT for three months. I am new but love it. The sport is challenging but i have improved so much it is amazing. my strength is better, indurance much increased from 1 minute rolling to two or three ten minute sessions. There are two guys who are over 300 pounds and we love going at it. Are professor respects our weight and teaches us techniques that utilise both our strength and our flexibility. He makes small guys train with us so they can learn to controll bigger stronger guys and we have to increase our ability to deal with their speed and strength as im sure u can agree most guys doing bjj are very strong and have great endurance. So To all those little guys or regular guys give it a go. make the big guys start on their backs trying to sweep and use your speed to pass and knees to stomach encourage them to not rely on strenght but work their technique. Good luck to all from the eager white belt.
